NO FCRA USE. Colorado Court Docket is privately operated and is not connected to a government body or court. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provide a consumer report or service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other purposes regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The service points readers toward Colorado court dockets and records; it is not a private investigation business or a consumer reporting agency.
1. What This Website Is
Colorado Court Docket is an independent reference resource, not a government or court service. It does not keep official case files, file papers, retrieve a docket for a reader, or alter a hearing date.
Its purpose is to point readers to Colorado court information: the Judicial Branch's upcoming-settings calendar, the paid case-history service linked by the Branch, statewide court resources, and the Clerk of Court in the county holding a case. The county directory covers all 64 counties, and outside providers may operate some search tools.
2. Informational Use Only
Material here is general information about Colorado's court records and docket systems. It is not a court order, the official docket, or legal advice. Verify a date, filing, or status with the Clerk of Court or court that holds the case.
Colorado case files are governed primarily by Chief Justice Directive 05-01 and PAIRR Rule 1. The Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) covers general public records, while PAIRR Rule 2 addresses Judicial Branch administrative records.
3. Rules for Using This Site
Use of the service is subject to these restrictions. You must not:
- Send automated bots or scrapers against site pages
- Break into a system or access an account or material without permission
- Use information to threaten, harass, or stalk another person
- Interfere with the service or prevent other people from using it
- Use the service in violation of federal, Colorado, or local law
- Use site information for a purpose barred by the FCRA or other applicable law
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
Colorado Court Docket is not an FCRA consumer reporting agency and does not create background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. It and its advertising partners do not offer those services. You may not use information from the site or a linked search to:
- Make a decision covered by the FCRA
- Assess a person's eligibility for a government program, license, or permit
- Set insurance terms or decide credit eligibility
- Make an employment or housing decision
Any legally regulated eligibility review must use a service authorized to provide the required consumer report.
5. No Legal Advice
No page on this site gives legal advice. It cannot determine how a Colorado charge, order, deadline, or case applies to an individual matter. Consult a licensed Colorado attorney about a specific legal question.
6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed
Information is supplied "as is." Colorado Court Docket makes no promise that:
- A linked provider's results are accurate or complete
- Pages contain no error, defect, or security weakness
- Information stays current, complete, or correct at every moment
- Access will be continuous or free from interruption
Case entries and settings can change as filings arrive, hearings move, or a court issues an order. Some records also have legal access limits. Site material is not an official court or Clerk statement. Confirm the current docket and date with the court that holds the case before relying on them.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
Links may lead to Colorado court or Clerk of Court pages, the statewide calendar, legal-aid organizations, and third-party search companies. Those services operate outside our control. We do not set their prices or privacy terms and cannot guarantee their content or availability. Review the destination's conditions before using it.
